Chun Wo C&E Achieves Fully
Automated Data Processing with VHSmartcard Intelligent System
Chun Wo Construction and Engineering
Co., Ltd. (Chun Wo C&E), a major construction company, has
introduced VHSmartcard Intelligent System (VHSiS) to process
data electronically.
Chun Wo C&E has been involved in many construction projects
in Hong Kong. With VHSiS, they have successfully established
a centralized repository for the data of all workers in various
contracts and sites to streamline data management. Authorized
users of Chun Wo C&E can access the data anywhere with PDA
after connecting to VHSiS's server.
Gathering attendance data from
all sites and arranging them systematically is definitely
a challenging job. VHSiS collects attendance data from the
sites and then exports them to its database. It can then turn
the raw data into organized and editable attendance records
with just a few clicks. After synchronizing with VHSiS's server,
Chun Wo C&E's staff can view the attendance records and search
a record by entering keywords or reading the smart cards.
VHSiS is an advanced system for
Chun Wo C&E to follow the new Government regulation on report
submission including Attendance Summary Report, Labor Return
(GF527) Report and Qualified Tradesman (QTR) Report that can
be generated completely automatically and accurately. For
the convenience of the user, amendments can be made in the
report consolidation module.
With VHSiS, Chun Wo C&E not only
has fulfilled the Government's requirement but also achieved
time-saving when dealing with thousands of labor data. As
data processing is now handled automatically, human errors
are effectively eliminated.
