VHBuild accredited BS7799 compliance certificate

VHSoft Technologies Co., Ltd. - a subsidiary of Yau Lee Holdings Limited (406) is proud to announce that its VHBuild?online project management platform has successfully complied to the specification of BS7799 and has been awarded the certificate. VHBuild is the first construction ASP in Asia to have received this prestigious accreditation.

BS7799 is an internationally recognized standard which defines best practice addressing the subject of information security in the aspects of Confidentially, Integrity and Availability. The approach consists of two parts. Part I, the standard framework also being adopted into ISO standard (ISO 17799), covers 10 areas with 127 control checks. This part is to help an organization to identify elements of their business operations that have impacts on information security. Part II is the specifications on management framework, objective and control requirement for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Such approach was first published as a standard in 1995 with the aim to support industry and government in implementation and enhancement of information security. Since its establishment, a growing number of organizations have applied and implemented such an approach. Some countries even publish BS7799 as their mandatory national standard.
