CEO of VHSoft received The Bauhinia Cup

Mr. Conrad T.C. Wong, the vice-chairman of Yau Lee Holdings Limited and the CEO of VHSoft Technologies Co., Ltd, was awarded "The Bauhinia Cup Outstanding Entrepreneur Awards" on 2nd of December, who was among the first batch of Hong Kong entrepreneurs to receive this honor. The award, initiated by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, aims at boosting China's economic development and communication between Hong Kong and China, through praising the success of the outstanding entrepreneurs in enhancing the business development. The Bauhinia Cup, which had been held in 1997 and 2000 respectively, is enjoying its 3rd anniversary and is the biggest size ever. The previous batches of award winners were solely mainland entrepreneurs but this year it has expanded its coverage to Hong Kong region for the fabulous and outstanding entrepreneurs.

The Bauhinia Cup is highly recognized by the China Government whereby it has Professor Cheng Si-wei, the Vice-Chairman of the National Representative Committee Board for the People, to be its honor chairman, and Mrs. Rita Fan, the Chairwoman of the HKSAR Legislative Council, to officiate the award presentation ceremony. Each nominee had significant contribution to the society and their own trades and was nominated by social communities, trade unions, enterprises and professional institutions. With world-famous entrepreneurs and renowned personages to be members of the independent appraisal committee, all winners were selected under open and impartial circumstances.

Mr. Conrad Wong stated at the Award Presentation Ceremony, "The award belongs to all our spectacular staff who have contributed a lot to the company which is a recognition from Hong Kong and China to our past efforts.
