Innovative
Construction IT Application Competition 2001
In association to the "Future
Outlook of Construction IT" conference and exhibition,
jointly organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council
(HKPC), Hong Kong Institute of Architect (HKIA), Hong Kong
Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) and the Hong Kong Institution
of Engineers (HKIE), to be held at the Hong Kong Convention
and Exhibition Center on June 28-30, 2001, VHSoft Technologies
has the honor of sponsoring the "Innovative Construction
IT Application" competition to encourage students and
professionals within the construction field to explore their
innovative and creative ideas related to the application
of information technologies to the building industry. Entry
works could be in any forms related to the subject, such
as framework of software, layout of a project, proposal
of an idea and so on. Entrants could demonstrate their ideas
using essay, PowerPoint presentation, website or combination
of them.
Contest works could be submitted
in electronic form or hard copy. Electronic entry works
are recommended to be written to a CD-ROM, so that the CD-ROM
and hard copies could be mailed back to VHSoft Technologies.
The deadline for entering this competition is 12:00 p.m.
of May 2, 2001. Entry works must be accompanied by a filled
Innovative Construction IT Application Entry Form.
Prizes will be awarded separately
for two categories of participants: students and professionals.
Three tiers of prizes will be given to each category. A
panel of judges comprising construction IT specialists invited
by the Organizers will evaluate the entry works and select
the winners. The prizes will be awarded to winning participants
at a prize-giving ceremony during the "Future Outlook
of Construction IT" conference and exhibition.
