VHSoft Facility Management
System now supports RFID and Works Order Management
Companies from different industries
continually strive to achieve the highest possible revenue
from their existing assets. Hence, the ability to eliminate
unnecessary delays, decrease downtime and reduce errors can
enhance profits significantly. Moreover, with the increasing
amount of physical assets, organizations must find new ways
to minimize maintenance time while maximizing accuracy and
efficiency.
VHFMS is an effective means for facilities and building maintenance
departments and organizations on space planning and maintenance.
It helps facility managers, space planners and plant maintenance
professionals to manage and access as-built records at ease,
avoiding lengthy infrastructure downtime, as well as improving
operational efficiencies and reducing risk.
The latest version of the System
is equipped with Barcode / RFID application whereby it can
identify and track every ˇ§Check Inˇ¨ or ˇ§Check Outˇ¨ of assets
in all premises of an organization which helps to reduce the
cost of inventory management and enable Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) scenarios. It simplifies the maintenance
management process, also increases efficiency and accuracy,
as assets are given unique item numbers and stored in the
database along with other relevant information such as condition,
depreciation, location, user, etc. Asset information is recorded
and stored thus provides a complete transaction history of
each item. Assets can also be moved from location to location.
Works Order Management is another new module of VHFMS. With
the support of handheld RFID or barcode device, the System
is able to handle routine health checking on assets and furniture,
as well as to create new works order with appropriate order
items which can be forwarded to contactors or consultants
immediately. Contactors and consultants can view the exact
work location via the drawings management module of VHFMS
and obtain the accurate corresponding works order information
simultaneously.
