with Advanced Drawing and Document Management System

drawing and document management system, to tender for a
redevelopment project.
HCC has decided to apply VHSoft's VHDrawings to dealing
with their drawings and documents because it is an efficient
tool to boost the efficiency of file management and facilitate
team communication.
With the unique artificial intelligence drawing pattern
recognition technology of VHDrawings, HCC project team can
extract all text information of a drawing including the
drawing number, drawing title and version number within
a few seconds. After storing these data into VHDrawing's
database together with the drawing file, the project team
can search a particular drawing with the powerful search
engine coupled with VHDrawings.
Revising drawings and documents
is unavoidable along the tendering process. VHDrawings helps
the team to control and keep track of file versions by listing
the version number of each file in the "File Management"
module. With this feature, the team may have a full picture
of the revision history of the files. They can also compare
two different versions of a drawing lucidly and quickly
at a glance with VHCompare which is incorporated in VHDrawings.
VHDrawings is a sever-client
based application that the team members can upload their
files to VHDrawings' central server through the client program
for other members to download. This feature not only enables
the team members to circulate dozens of files at a time,
but also automatically reads the drawing information if
the uploading file is in DWG format and hence human input
is prevented. With this common platform, the team collaboration
has been greatly enhanced and excellent drawing and document
management has been achieved.
A built-in CAD browser is equipped
in VHDrawings so that the project team can open DWG files
without installing any CAD program. Besides, with the drawing
compression technology, the original file size of each drawing
