Current Issues:

  1. Project manager/site administrator is hard to manage the progress of each trade/works for every work orders. The problem will be more serious if there are over hundred work orders for a contract. Since there is a sequence of trades (or works) and target schedule (days for completing) for each trade for every work order. Any delay in one trade (works) may delay the schedule for each work order.
  2. Foreman has to sort out the photos relating to each work order and prepare status report. Project manager can then review the overall quality of works for each work order. The long working cycle will cause the defect(s) to be found in later stage. It will cause a rework and affect the quality, schedule and cost of project.
  3. Time consuming in preparing the completion reports since the staff needs to sort out a lot of photos regarding different stages (e.g. before works, in progress, after work) of trades/works for each work order.
  4. Management hard to trace the status of work orders (especially those work orders which delayed for 7 or 14 days or not yet start).
